ISLA - Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology lecturer Dr. Manuel Tender will be one of the speakers at Digital Construction Week on the 5 - 6 June 2024 at ExCel London.
With the paper "BIM4OSH Observatory: Development of a novel knowledge sharing platform that monitors how BIM is being used to improve Health and Safety outcomes in construction projects across Europe", the session reports on the development of a new global BIM observatory for Occupational Safety and Health based on a collaborative platform that will be used to:
- Obtain longitudinal OSH statistical data and provide information on the progress of national and European implementation of BIM for OSH;
- Capture, centralise and share lessons learned from previous projects;
- Create a repository of technical and scientific information
