MetodologiaMethodologyThe teaching and learning process is based on a theoretical and practical approach, organised into three complementary stages: presentation and discussion of the course contents; self-directed learning activities through case analysis and computer-based exercises using Excel, NewHotel and NewRes; and the development of individual and group assignments aimed at applying knowledge to contexts that reflect professional practice. Continuous assessment comprises two theoretical and practical tests, each weighted at 25%; one group assignment weighted at 20%; one individual assignment weighted at 20%; and participation in course activities, including short assignments, weighted at 10%. The tests and assignments are compulsory, and the assignments must also be presented and defended. Under final assessment, students complete an examination comprising theoretical and practical computer-based components, weighted at 100%.
