    Objectives of the course: Main Objective: To explore discussions and recent advances in management accounting research and practice. Secondary objectives: i) Understand the path of management accounting for sustainability ii) Analyze the factors that influence the design of management control systems; iii) Characterize the main models of measurement and control; and iv) Encourage critical analysis of management control system design solutions.     Skills to be developed: - Design and analyze critically organisation¿s costing systems in specific contexts; - Describe how performance measurement systems can promote sustainability; - Ability for a critical analysis of information systems design.

    Avaliação Curricular

     

    A avaliação será efetuada da seguinte forma:

    - 50% com um teste de avaliação;

    - 30% com a realização e apresentação de um trabalho individual de base científica, sobre uma das temáticas incluída nos conteúdos;

    - 20% com a apresentação de dois trabalhos de grupo

    A presença nas aulas terá uma ponderação de 10% da nota, caso esta contribua para a melhoria da mesma, em substituição de 10% da média ponderada do teste de avaliação e do trabalho.

     

     

    Avaliação Final

    Todos os estudantes terão direito a um exame final, a realizar numa época de avaliação.
