ApresentaçãoPresentationThis course aims to provide students with a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of computer networks and their direct relationship to cybersecurity. It explores the main concepts of network communication, protocols, topologies, reference models, and interconnection devices, highlighting the security implications at each layer. It covers topics such as network segmentation, access control, traffic monitoring, and attack detection and mitigation in a network environment. It also includes a more introductory section on vulnerability and threat analysis in enterprise network infrastructures and the application of best network security practices. Knowledge is consolidated through practical exercises and case studies that enable students to plan, configure, audit, and secure networks, reinforcing their understanding of defense and incident response mechanisms.
