    The curricular unit Critical Thinking, integrated into the Higher Professional Technical Course in Sports Activities Management, aims to develop skills in the analysis, interpretation, and rigorous evaluation of information, promoting critical reflection and well-founded argumentation. Its scope includes the identification of fallacies, the analysis of reasoning, and the construction of solid arguments-essential competences for informed decision-making in academic, professional, and social contexts. Due to its transversal nature, this unit enhances students' adaptability, autonomy, and responsibility, adding value to their technical training in this field.

Arguments from analogy. 6. Causal arguments. 7. Fallacies. 8. Rhetorical devices. 9. Norms and obstacles to critical thinking.
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    Knowledge: Acquire fundamental concepts related to critical thinking, namely, truth, validity, knowledge, reason, and argument; understand reasoning structures and identify logical fallacies. Skills: Develop the ability to analyze, evaluate, and reconstruct arguments; reflect in a structured, comprehensive, and in-depth manner; consider ideas and concepts critically and with reason. Abilities: Adopt an active and engaged observer; communicate clearly, authentically, and consistently; express and defend one's own points of view; listen to and interpret different perspectives, fostering a deep understanding of the concepts under discussion
