    This course aims to provide students with knowledge and mastery of the basic and transversal concepts of a digital project.   To enable students, in a practical context, to apply the knowledge acquired in the creation, exploitation and development of digital products or services.   This course aims to introduce, for the first time in the curricular plan, methodologies of digital project development, through the application of concepts obtained during the first half of the course.   The UC also intends that students prepare themselves to develop autonomous skills and have their own ideas regarding the digital world.

    Theoretical classes: Presentation and discussion of concepts and theories within the following topics:     Identification of the idea of a project / digital service   Development of the concept   Commercial analysis   Product development   Market test   Adoption process   Dissemination   Structure of a business plan   Market research: products/services   Preparation of a program of equipment and resources   Regulatory framework of the project   Costs, investment and financing   Investment project   Applied tourism projects, case studies.     Theoretical-practical classes:   1. Practical application of the theoretical knowledge acquired in the course. 2. Elaboration of practical project.
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    Provide students with knowledge and mastery of the basic and transversal concepts of an integrated digital project. To guide students to the opportunities of the tourism market in what concerns:   Implementing digital, competitive, innovative and sustainable projects; Analyse the advantages, constraints and risks of financial investments in the sector; Transmitting the key concepts implicit in the management and programming of digital projects, developing an attitude of approaching the geographical, social and cultural contexts of framing the application of projects in real context.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
    Teaching methodology: Theoretical classes - Expositive and interrogative method. Individual and group work. Presentations and discussion - Active and participatory method. Evaluation methodology: a) Curricular Evaluation (according to the Pedagogical Regulation of the CTeSP) Global Assessment Test (GAT) (45% minimum score 7) Realization and presentation of an group work (45%, minimum score 7) Attendance and Attitudes (10%) Global Assessment Test - Last lesson. Presentation and defense of the Works: Penultimate lesson b) Final Evaluation All students will be entitled to a final exam, to be held in an evaluation season. Observations: - No oral exams will be taken in this Curriculum Unit.
