ApresentaçãoPresentationThe course is based on an introduction to Organizational Management, and secondly, on the study of Sports Organizations. It addresses management functions and their respective importance, internal and external environments, organizational structures, the control process, communication, motivation, leadership, and organizational culture. The concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship in sports are also studied. This course is of significant importance to the program, given the content taught and its application in a practical context.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Sport - The concepts of innovation and sports entrepreneurship. - Examples of entrepreneurial projects in sports organizations.

ObjectivosObjectivesThe student should become capable of understanding the roles of a manager in an organization; identifying and analyzing environmental variables and their influence on organizations; analyzing the interaction between the different functional areas of the organization; being able to carry out a strategic analysis of the organization; defining and knowing how to use the various tools for analysis and control of organizational processes; collecting, processing, and interpreting essential information for the management of an organization.

MetodologiaMethodologyDuring the semester, throughout the classes taught, positive days with content appropriate to the course were provided, actively involving all students. In most classes, group work was carried out with the aim of maintaining focus - 4-hour classes become difficult to manage in terms of students' concentration and applying the knowledge acquired in class to practical contexts. Practical examples related to the curriculum were also shared throughout the period. This methodology aims to increase students' interest and proactivity. A corporate environment was promoted with the aim of bringing the teaching-learning process closer to organizational and professional reality, preparing students for real work contexts.
