ObjectivosObjectivesThe contents of Microeconomics discipline has two main objectives: O1. To expose and help understand some principles and tools developed by economic science for the study of the behaviour of different agents; O2. Explain how they can be applied to various economic problems, including the taking of individual economic decisions and the functioning of some markets. O3. The student must acquire knowledge enabling them to analyze the market and the consequences of certain decisions taken by economic agents.

MetodologiaMethodologyStudents should acquire and/or develop skills that enable them to understand the dimensions and implications of decision-making in companies. At a microeconomic level, these decisions are centred on the dynamic relationship between demand and supply. It involves defining the price and structure of production and quantity offered. The following teaching and learning methodologies will be used to acquire these competences: 1. lectures, to present the theoretical reference frameworks and procedures associated with the techniques and models used; 2. Participative and active, using a simulator to validate decision-making processes. 3. Self-study, related to the student's autonomous work and the production of individual/group work.
