  It is intended to provide a theoretical framework on the evolution of organizational theory and management practices in order to promote understanding of the assumptions underlying systemic logic to the management of organizations in contemporary society and the increasing implementation and management systems certification, in particular of safety and health at work management systems.

  It is intended that students at the end of the UC be able to: - understand the evolution of organizational theory and management practices. - understand the systemic logic underlying the management of organizations in the contemporary world. - undestand what management systems are and represent, as well understand the epistemological and operational principles behind them. - understand the usefulness and importance of safety and health at work management systems - understand the legal and normative framework for management activities fo safety and health at work in contemporary organizations.
