ApresentaçãoPresentationThis course provides students with an overview of the organizations and of their management in the context of modern society. To follow the evolution of the main theories of management. To analyze the key concepts and theories in the context of the functions of the management process. To address the different functional areas of organizations and their interrelations. To know the main trends of modern management and nowadays different organizational forms. To contextualize the organization in relation to its surroundings based on different organizational paradigms. To define mission, strategy and organizational goals. To characterize the various forms of organizational structure. To frame management subsystems in European and global context.

ObjectivosObjectivesThe student should be able to understand the roles of a manager in an organization; to identify and analyze the variables of the surrounding environment and the influence that they have in organizations; to analyze the existing interaction between the different functional areas of the organization; to make a strategic analysis of the organization; to define and to know how to use the different tools of analysis and control of the organizational processes; to collect, process and interpret information essential to the management of an organization.

Philix is a tutor based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education. AI can be used to personalise teaching, provide immediate feedback, analyse student performance, and identify areas for improvement. Gamification - Integrates game elements, such as competition, rewards, and challenges, into the teaching-learning process to increase student engagement. Online Collaborative Learning using Moodle forums.
