   In the curricular unit of Project, the students of the Occupational Safety Engineering course fulfill the last stage of their learning path, wiht the development of applied project in safety and health at work, in order to achieve the primary goal that they proposed themselves, which is completing the course successfully.

• ObjectivosObjectives

  This last step requires that they develop a course final work dedicated to the area of safety and hygiene at work, whether by producing a Training at Work Report or through a Monograph with a case study. The central objectives of the definition of this are: - deepening a theme related to the course by the students, enabling them to improve the capacity of reflection and synthesis and application of knowledge, as well the contact with research practices; - reinforce the internalization of concepts, methods and techniques in the formative perspective that the students also learn by doing (applied knowledge).

• MetodologiaMethodology

  The development of an applied project on occupational health and safety allows students to deepen and apply skills acquired throughout the course. The design and implementation of the project is monitored by the teaching team, with the assignment of an individual advisor to each student. They will also have the opportunity to prepare a technical-scientific report with the project developed and present and defend it in the context of public proofs.
