    This course aims to train and qualify students in the area of Occupational Safety and Health, namely in terms of mastery, assessment of dangerous substances and tools that allow the prevention of occupational diseases.

Biological agents 3.1 Biological agents and biosafety: concepts, legislation and guidelines. 3.2 Classification of agents and containment levels: exposure assessment criteria 3.3 Assessment of biological risk and management of a risk control program 3. 4 Case study: Implementation of the Legionella control plan in an industrial unit 4.   • ObjectivosObjectives
    Objectives: Acknowledge the classification of the biological and chemical risk agents. To identify parameters, evaluation measures, prevention and protection. Understand the regulatory frameworks and legal regulation in force. Skills to Develop: It is intended that students have the following competences: KNOW: Understanding legislation and technical standards relating to risk agents.  Preventive measures and protection. KNOW-HOW: Identify the various risk factors related to biological and chemical risk agents. Using the methods, measuring instruments and techniques of quantitative assessment of inherent risk. Analyze and define the measures of prevention and protection against the risk agents. Operate and control the implementation of the specified measures.
