On October 23, ISLA Gaia is promoting
Finance Day, an event dedicated to financial literacy for students of all ages.
Throughout the day, there will be practical activities, lectures, contests, and interactive dynamics, with the participation of experts, including the Bank of Portugal and CFA Society Portugal.
Morning (10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) – Ana Diogo | Finance4Youth | ISLA Gaia
Activities specially designed for Tesp and Bachelor's degree students, in a practical and interactive format:
- Presentation of the Finance4Youth project and initial dynamics;
- Exploration of digital resources (quiz, simulators, personas);
- Session on key concepts of personal finance (budgeting, credit, savings);
- Group work with real personas and interactive quiz;
- Closing with joint reflection.
Afternoon (2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.) – Carina Meireles | ISLA Gaia
Open to students from all cycles (Tesp, Bachelor's, and Master's), with a more advanced program:
- Lectures by Banco de Portugal and CFA Society Portugal on credit, digital financial services, savings, and investment;
- “My financial future” contest;
- Interactive challenges with the audience
- Finance Laboratory in collaboration with ISLA Gaia;
- Closing with final reflection.
