From 8 to 12 March, ISLA Gaia hosted the
Businet Student Conference 2026, bringing together students from various European institutions for a week of international learning and collaboration.
During the event, participants worked in multicultural teams, taking part in workshops and sessions led by academics and industry professionals, focused on developing employability skills, emotional intelligence, experiential learning and intercultural skills.
In addition to the academic activities held on campus, the students also had the opportunity to explore the city of Porto and engage with local organisations, reinforcing the practical and international dimension of the experience. A week marked by sharing, networking and an international spirit, which reinforced ISLA Gaia’s commitment to the global education of its students.
