    The Basic Fundamentals of Classic Animation in 3D Creating for different publishing platforms Concepts for 3D character design Interaction of animation in video games and cinema   Use of 3D Development Techniques Introduction and demonstration of techniques for different platforms Preparation mode of the different 3D techniques (polygons, nurbs, splines and subdivision surfaces) Development of conceptual design of characters Creating a prototype Character creation for Video or Movie Games Personality development, skeleton controllers and surrounding environment Geometry and maps production with defined hierarchies Import, export and edit characters for games or movies

    Introduce the general principles of 3D animation, Riggs and 3D character. Provide skills in the use of Bipeds and Skeletons and in the use of animation controllers. Define best practices in creating skins for animation and creating Riggs hierarchy. Introduce the general principles of a 3D character. Provide skills in the use of different 3D creation techniques. Define best practices in creating 3D content. 3D character development for game or cinema.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
    Classes will take place in a room prepared with software and computer equipment. Classes will be taught in a context based on practical projects, with constant demonstrations. The evaluation is continuous and consists of solving exercises proposed throughout the classes resulting in an final weighted average valuation with a total value of ten points. At the end of the course students will take a final practical test with a weight of eight points. The remaining two points are intended to assess student participation in the classroom. Students who are not successful will be able to take the exams during the assessment periods defined by the institution.
