ApresentaçãoPresentationThis curricular unit intends to start with the study of the argument and the narrative. In this sense, the syllabus begins with the basic principles so that students understand and master the fundamental concepts (objective 1, 2 and 3). Soon after, the development and creation of scenes, characters and plots are promoted (objective 4). After obtaining the previous knowledge, it is intended to create and develop practical exercises for the development of writing projects and preparation for filming the scenes.

ObjectivosObjectivesAt the end of the semester, the student should be able to: Recognize and employ the fundamental principles and concepts of screenwriting. Recognize and apply specific writing techniques for the various formats; Distinguish and understand the differences between narratives; Allow the creation of scenes, characters and plots by carrying out practical exercises; Develop writing projects and structure the script and storyboard.

MetodologiaMethodologyThe teaching methodology adopted will be through the following methods: • Exhibition: presentation of pedagogical contents and analysis of texts and films, docs, etc.; • Interrogative, in order to develop critical and reflection capacity and to control the acquisition of knowledge: • Demonstrative, in the use of video tutorials on film and film; • Active, in the production of texts and in the development of projects. • Problem-based Learning (PBL).
