The unit addresses the fundamental concepts of e-tourism, exploring theoretical frameworks, practical applications, and the impact of digital transformation on tourism markets and consumer behaviour. Digital literacy, information systems, artificial intelligence, platforms, and digital marketing strategies play an increasingly important role in an industry that relies on the ability to gather, process, analyse and use data effectively.
