    This course unit, integrated into the Master's in Human Resource Management, aims to equip students with essential skills to face the current challenges of society and the practice of HR management. It intends to promote an understanding of fundamental ethical concepts, stimulate critical thinking through the analysis of ethical dilemmas, and develop a strategic vision of social responsibility, integrating sustainability into organizational planning. The program addresses topics such as ethics in HR management, codes of conduct, ethical dilemmas, the social responsibility of organizations, and employee engagement.

    This course aims to develop in students skills that are fundamental and essential for facing the current global challenges of our society, the job market, and more specifically the Human Resources Management function. The main objectives will be: - To promote understanding of the concept of ethics and its theoretical and operational assumptions; - To contribute to the development of students' critical thinking, based on critical and reflective discussion of ethical dilemmas in the practice of human resources management; - To develop a strategic vision of social responsibility management, understanding the importance of integrating sustainability into the strategic planning of organizations; - To understand the integration of social responsibility into the Human Resources function in organizations.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
    Theoretical content will be addressed primarily using expository and interrogative methodologies. Sessions will always be developed based on case studies and application to concrete situations. Practical work developed during the sessions is based on experiential learning, focused on solving real-world organizational problems and challenges.
