  The Legislation and Authorship CU is particularly important for framing the students' future professional activity and their more technical learning in the applicable legislation and standards, allowing them to get to know the rules of action at national, EU and international level, equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to be autonomous in their research and knowledge of the legal landscape surrounding the Multimedia area.

• ObjectivosObjectives

  The aim is for students to be able to identify the regulations applied in the areas of Intellectual (and industrial) Property, distinguishing the levels of coverage of the rules in force, knowing the search tools that will give them access to up-to-date legislation as well as its history and raison d'être, critically appreciating the regulatory framework that the legislator has chosen to give to the concerns that multimedia and copyright assume at the present time.

• MetodologiaMethodology

  Given the subjects being studied, the learning process focuses on analysing the law and doctrine - namely annotated Codes or published studies - as well as researching case law. Students are invited to bring cases from their own lives or those of their family and friends, or media reports with legal or judicial content, to the sessions for joint discussion and appreciation of the respective framework so that they can understand and verify the relevance of law in their daily lives (with the intention that they also project this relevance into their future professional lives).
