    This curricular unit aims to provide an approach to fundamental domains of Organizational Psychology, with a focus on areas of key processes for today's organizations and to facilitate the ability to design research and intervention strategies in the areas addressed. Additionally, it will allow to resize the intervention, widening the fields of action of future psychologists in organizations.

    Introduction: Nature, scope and objectives of the Organizational Psychology; 1 - Contribution of Organizational Psychology for Occupational Health Psychology 2 - Structural and strategic processes; 3 - Historical approach of the theories about organizations; 4 - Organizational structures; 5 - Formulation and dynamic organizational strategy; 6 - Individual and Group Processes in Organizational Context; 7 - Culture and organizational climate; 8 - Organizational communication and  learning; 9 - Organizational innovation; Change and development.
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    Understand the definition, nature and study object of Organizational Psychology; Clarify the role of Organizational Psychology in the context of human and organizational development; Identify and characterize the main areas of Organizational Psychology; Identify and characterize the essential concepts of Organizational Psychology. The students will be able to develop skills and competencies in terms of the Organizational Psychology field of action and the role of organizational psychologist, dynamics and processes occurring in organizations.
