  Developing knowledge of production organization and management problems from a management and administration perspective. Acquisition of a common language with the engineering technicians and managers and, at the same time, the domain of some fundamental tools most used in the operational management of any organisation, profit or non-profit, as a support and basis for its decision-making. At the end of the course unit the learner is expected to be able to use a set of techniques and methods that facilitate the management of production and operations.
