  The seminar on good companies practices aims to provide students with contact with positive and even innovative approaches in the field of occupational health and safety management, namely in terms of training and involvement of workers in improving working conditions, preventing accidents at work and in responding to emergency situations.

• ObjectivosObjectives

  The good practices component in safety and health at work aims to provide the students with an approximation to the real contexts of implementation, monitoring and evaluation of safety conditions, through the presentation, visit and analysis of real case studies. Will be analyzed in more detail the requirements for the management of training and competencies in Safety and Health at work, the participation and involvement of workers in the construction of a safety culture, as the promotion of self-protection measures and the management of people and resources in emergency situations, so that the students can understand approaches and procedures to be considered in these areas.

• MetodologiaMethodology

  The teaching methodology consists of presentation, visit and analysis of real case studies of training management and competencies in Safety and Health at work, of behavior-based safety and of self-protection measures preconization and management of people and resources in emergency situations. That is, it includes a strong component of active and demonstrative pedagogical methods. Students with a final grade, obtained through continuous assessment, equal or higher than 10 values are approved in the course unit. Continuous evaluation considers the following parameters: Participation and Assiduity (15%) and report of real case study analysis in the mentioned areas (85%).

  Para avaliar os conhecimentos adquiridos serão utilizados os seguintes elementos para a avaliação

  Os estudantes que não obtiverem aprovação na avaliação distribuída, poderão realizar exame escrito nas épocas complementares de avaliação previstas no regimento do ISLA.
