    The Curricular Unit (CU) "Management of Travel Agencies and Tour Operators" is part of the scientific area of Tourism and Leisure, with no prerequisites, and is offered in Portuguese and English. The course provides a global and comprehensive view of how the tourism sector works, with a particular focus on tourism intermediaries and Global Distribution Systems, especially the Galileo system.

  • ObjectivosObjectives
    The aim is to provide students with solid knowledge of tourist distribution systems, the operational structures of tourist agencies and operators, and the management of tourist reservations and accommodation.  The skills to be developed include the ability to use the Galileo system efficiently, understand the dynamics of the tourist market and apply accommodation management techniques.
