CyberWars BIP at ISLA Gaia highlights Talent and Cybersecurity Innovation
From April 13 to 17, 2026, ISLA Gaia hosted CyberWars BIP. Over the course of five days, students from the Netherlands, Belgium, and France worked on concrete challenges, supported by international mentors and in direct contact with companies.
The result: solid projects, prototypes with real-world applicability, and a focus on creating startups. The program concluded with a final session in a Dragon’s Den format, where teams presented innovative, impact-driven solutions.
ISLA Gaia extends its gratitude to coordinator Thiago Vieira and the organizing team: Marco Lamas, Helena Gonçalves, Paulo Furtado, and Daniela Braga.
Thanks also to the mentors, jury, and partners, including Fontys University of Applied Sciences, Avans University of Applied Sciences, EPHEC, VIVES, CyberX, Cybertech Acceleration Inc, incubou.com, the Businet network, and Armis.
CyberWars BIP reinforces ISLA’s Gaia role in connecting talent, innovation, and the technology ecosystem.
