Strategic mission results in the formalization of a cooperation agreement and opens new collaboration opportunities.
ISLA – Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology successfully conducted an international mission to Mozambique from June 16 to 20, 2025, focusing on promoting technological entrepreneurship and supporting startups and scaleups. During the visit, a cooperation agreement was formalized with Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique's largest and oldest higher education institution, solidifying a strategic partnership essential for the development of joint initiatives. This partnership represents an important milestone in ISLA Gaia's internationalization strategy, strengthening ties between Portugal and Mozambique in the field of higher education and the innovation ecosystem. The mission was led by Marco Lamas (Coordinator of the Business & Innovation Lab) and Paulo Furtado (Coordinator of the Institutional Relations and Mobility Office).
