The Higher Professional Technical Course (CTeSP) aims to qualify Higher Professional Technicians in Web and Mobile Development who, independently or as part of a team, are able to analyze, design, produce, program, test, and validate software solutions for desktop, web, and mobile platforms in an integrated manner.

- Holders of a 12th-grade diploma or legally equivalent qualification;
- Holders of CETs, holders of CTeSPs, or a higher education degree;
- Applicants over the age of 23 who have passed the specially designed exams to assess their ability to attend higher education.
In addition, candidates must have passed two of the following Relevant Areas:
- Mathematics
- Portuguese
- Informatics

ObjectivosObjectives
The objectives of the CTeSP in Web and Mobile Development are:
- Design, plan, project, analyze, and model software applications for mobile devices, in native or web environments;
- Develop, program, implement, and publish optimized software applications in native or web environments;
- Create, develop, and edit multimedia components using authoring tools. Integrate interfaces, content, and multimedia components into software applications for mobile devices, in native or web environments;
- Test and evaluate software applications for mobile devices, in native or web environments.

The professional opportunities of the CTeSP are:
- Design application interfaces for mobile devices;
- Identify specific needs that can be met through new applications aimed at mobile devices;
- Adapt different multimedia technologies (audio, video, and graphic animation) to the characteristics of each device;
- Integrate application design into the development frameworks provided by each of the main mobile platforms currently dominating the market (Android, iOS);
- Use open web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) for cross-platform application development;
- Conduct studies and the necessary steps to implement autonomous business initiatives in the area of mobile application development;
- Identify, within companies and other organizations, the areas and types of applications that can maximize efficiency levels through the use of mobile devices.

Estudos FuturosFuture Studies
The study plan of the CTeSP in Web and Mobile Development program at ISLA comprises 120 ECTS. The foundational training components included in the course (namely in the fields of Computer Science, Management, Mathematics, and Multimedia) provide the technical and scientific knowledge necessary for continuing studies through enrollment in a 1st Cycle program (i.e., Bachelor's degree) in multiple areas of specialization.

ObservaçõesObservations
The training system of the Professional Higher Technical Courses must foster and promote flexibility, self-determination and responsibility on the part of the students in accordance with the Bologna Declaration. The curriculum structure lasts 4 semesters with a total of 120 ECTS. Each ECTS is equivalent to 25 total hours of student work, per semester and per curricular unit (UC). The dominant scientific area of the study cycle is 481 - Computer Sciences. The basic training components included will provide students with the technical and scientific knowledge they need to continue their studies.
