The Master's Degree in Finance and Taxation is an advanced training program aimed at developing high professional skills and qualifications in the fields of finance and taxation.
Its general objectives are to train and update professionals whose work is carried out in a business context.
Given the heavy demands placed on these professionals, the volatility of the markets and the increasing complexity of tax legislation which directly affects the daily life of companies, this master's degree will enable professionals to develop generic and specific skills, making them better able to perform their duties.
For this reason, in addition to the subjects specific to finance and taxation, the course also includes aspects of accounting, statistical methods, research methodologies and data science.
The Master's in Finance and Taxation is part of the courses already offered by ISLA in the area of Business Sciences.

The following are eligible to apply for the cycle of studies leading to a master's degree:
- holders of a bachelor's degree or legal equivalent; holders
- of a foreign academic degree awarded following a 1st cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna process by a State adhering to that process; holders of a
- foreign higher academic degree that is recognized as meeting the objectives of the bachelor's degree by the statutorily competent body;
- holders of an academic, scientific or professional curriculum that is recognized by ISLA's statutorily competent body as attesting to the ability to carry out this cycle of studies.

The Master's objectives focus on:
- Developing an advanced understanding of the fundamental principles and theories in finance and taxation, covering topics such as investment analysis, financial risk management and tax legislation;
- Empowering students with advanced analytical and quantitative skills to evaluate and make strategic decisions in complex financial and tax contexts;
- Fostering a critical and up-to-date view of practices and trends in financial markets and in the tax regulatory environment, preparing students to face challenges and seize opportunities;
- Promote an understanding of the interrelationships between financial decisions and tax obligations, encouraging an integrated and holistic approach to the financial management of organizations;
- Stimulate research and applied research in finance and taxation;
- Prepare students to assume leadership roles and responsibility in companies, financial institutions, consulting firms and government organizations.

A Master in Finance and Taxation should have:
- A mastery of recent theoretical developments and the ability to carry out a critical analysis of the main topics in finance and taxation;
- Knowledge of research methodologies and information processing in finance and taxation that will enable them to develop original applied research; The
- ability to create solutions to problems in the following areas: financial and tax management, financial and tax consultancy, investment portfolio management and financial risk management; The
- ability to work in multidisciplinary contexts, marked by contextual dynamics; A
- mastery of computer tools for processing financial information that facilitates decision-making.
