IDG Gaia Community Hub
The Inner Development Goals constitute an international framework of competencies, qualities, and attitudes geared toward the inner development of individuals and organizations, with the aim of advancing the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The IDG Hubs & Networks brings together communities that collaboratively promote learning, reflection, and the implementation of transformative practices in different contexts. The establishment of the IDG Gaia Community Hub is part of ISLA Gaia’s sustainability strategy, reinforcing initiatives already underway, notably the recent recognition as an SDG Pioneer, awarded by UNITAR/CIFAL, which distinguished ISLA Gaia as the first higher education institution in Portugal to receive this international recognition.
The IDG Gaia Community Hub serves as a platform connecting students, faculty, professionals, and institutional partners, with a focus on developing leadership skills, impact entrepreneurship, and promoting sustainable innovation. The Hub will be coordinated by Joana Serôdio, Marco Lamas, and Rosalina Pires, underscoring ISLA Gaia’s commitment to fostering a more conscious, responsible, and sustainability-oriented academic community.
