As part of the modules Audiovisual Production I, Video Editing and Post-Production I, and Sound Laboratory, a group of students from the
CTeSP Sound and Image course, taking up the challenge of creating a documentary, chose the
Porto Food Bank as the project to be developed over the course of the semester.
Building on the good relations being established between ISLA Gaia and the Porto Food Bank, another group of students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Communication, as part of the Integrative Project module, chose to draw up a strategic plan for the institution’s digital communication, thereby strengthening its presence on social media.
Thank you to the Porto Food Bank, represented by Executive Director Joana Leite, for the way in which she welcomed this group of students, explaining the entire process behind this organisation so that they can now move forward with their projects.
This is the spirit of the Polytechnic Institutes – to apply, in practice and in a real-world context, the skills developed through their studies. We’ll be sharing more news about this trip soon!
