    The Master's degree in Human Resources Management is characterized by being disruptive and its main objective is to provide Master's students in Human Resources Management with the ability to understand theoretical developments and critically analyze human resources issues in organizational contexts. It forms a development foundation supported by original applications in this field and provides the ability to understand and solve Human Resources Management problems, contributing to making them agents of change and enhancing organizational performance and well-being. Through a strong faculty with knowledge and practical experience, it enables students to integrate knowledge, address complex issues, develop solutions, or make judgments in situations of limited or incomplete information, including reflections on ethical and social responsibilities that result from or influence those solutions. It focuses on developing communication, critical thinking, and self-learning as essential tools in this study cycle.

    The following may apply to the Master's degree program:

    • Holders of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent legal qualification;
    • Holders of a foreign academic degree awarded following a first-cycle of studies organized according to the principles of the Bologna Process by a state that is part of this process;
    • Holders of a foreign higher academic degree recognized as meeting the objectives of a Bachelor's degree by the statutory competent authority;
    • Individuals with an academic, scientific, or professional curriculum recognized by the statutory competent authority of ISLA as demonstrating the ability to undertake this course of study.

    The Master's degree in Human Resources Management aims to equip graduates with skills that allow them to identify the most significant business evolution trends, offering solid training in the development of skills that will enable them to invest in their professional careers in a highly competitive environment. The Master's in Human Resources Management is responsible for defining the organization's strategic objectives regarding the development of its human and social capital. On the other hand, analytical and forecasting abilities are developed to assess the company's workload and quality needs, in order to organize processes that respond to competitive advantages focused on talent, with the goal of producing entrepreneurial organizational cultures, fostering attractive organizational climates, and promoting high-performance work teams.

    • Strengthen teamwork in multidisciplinary teams capable of responding to contexts of accelerated change strategies;
    • Analyze new procedures in human resources management, adjusted to scientific-technological and strategic-organizational trends;
    • Develop practices for analyzing specific problems inherent to human resources management, supported by scientific procedures in this field;
    • Enable the usability of specific programs for the methodological practices inherent to the dissertation process;
    • Identify and interpret environmental and surrounding factors, evaluating their impact on human resources management within the organization;
    • Recommend and enable the autonomous development of studies and research on topics involving different perspectives and models of human resources management;
    • Provide the definition of topics for future study, developing a strategy and methodology adjusted to the planning and development of the study, with results to be presented publicly.
