    The main objective of the degree in Human Resources Management is to prepare highly qualified professionals to respond to the abrupt changes that the markets require.

    Being fully aware that practices and models are constantly changing, we have a robust faculty, endowed with scientific knowledge and extensive professional experience, allowing students to be permanently updated with regard to the business needs inherent to the needs of the business fabric.

    Through activities aimed at each specific area, we promote contact with professionals and companies that list theory to practice, distributing modern models shared in the first person. We are guided by a culture of proximity between teachers and students that perpetuates the bonds that classify us as an academic environment of excellence.

    In addition, the degree in Human Resources Management is part of the Impulso Program, PRR - Recovery and Resilience Plan, with access to a training grant.

  • Condições de IngressoAccess Conditions

    Candidates eligible to apply for this study cycle must submit their application through the institutional access contest and have completed one of the following sets of exams:

    • 18 Portuguese

    and one of the following exams:

    • 04 Economics
    • 06 Philosophy
    • 09 Geography
    • 11 History
    • 13 English
    • 17 Applied Mathematics for Social Sciences

    Candidates may also be admitted through transfer regimes between institution/course or through a Special Contest, in accordance with the current legal regulations (holders of a higher education degree, holders of a Technological Specialization Course, holders of a Higher Professional Technical Course, or over 23 years old).

    Candidates who meet the conditions established in the International Student Statute may also apply.

    Candidates can enter if they have a secondary school degree (12th year) or a legally equivalent qualification and the respective entrance exam(s). Candidates can also enter through the change of institution/course pair or through a Special Competition, in accordance with the legal rules in force (holders of a higher education course, holders of a Technological Specialization Course, holders of a Professional Higher Technical Course or over 23 years old).

    Candidates who meet the conditions set out in the International Student Statute can also enter.

    The Degree in Human Resources Management enables the student to acquire skills that allow him to identify the most striking trends in business, diagnose and anticipate the evolution of the economic context and the labor market.

    It is up to the student and/or candidate to define the strategic objectives of the organization with regard to the development of people and knowledge, to define capacities for analyzing and predicting the availability and needs of the company in terms of workload and quality, as well as to organize processes such as: recruitment, selection, reception and integration of candidates; recognition and reward; technical and behavioral training; of health and safety at work, in accordance with the legislation in force and with the strategic needs of the company.

    Completion of this bachelor¿s degree allows students to progress in their education, with the possibility of continuing at the Institution by enrolling in the 2nd cycle through the programs offered by ISLA (Master¿s in Human Resources, Master¿s in Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or Finance).

    At the end of the degree, students have access to the CCP (to be requested from IEFP, under the terms of Ordinance No. 214/2011 of May 30), allowing them to obtain an additional work tool essential for the activity of professional trainers.
